From the beginning, PC was coeducational, community-driven, and rooted in service. What started as a dream to care for children left without families and give them a future quickly grew into a place where students—regardless of their background—could pursue their full potential through education.

What’s a Blue Hose?

In the early 1900s, sportswriters gave PC this nickname inspired by our athlete’s bold blue socks. The name stuck, but it’s grown to mean so much more. Today, Blue Hose is a reference to our championship spirit and a proud symbol of PC’s resilience and heart.
