Madison Pruitt, a 2025 graduate of 小猪视频, earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and was named the Education Department鈥檚 Outstanding Senior.
Her research article, 鈥淢obile Device Use and Effects on Literacy Among 4- and 5-Year-Olds,鈥 was published in Literacy Matters, the journal of the Palmetto State Literacy Association. The work grew out of her education capstone and was also presented at the 2024 S.C. Upstate Research Symposium.
Pruitt gained classroom experience teaching kindergarten and is now exploring graduate school options in special education. She is considering paths in speech-language pathology or occupational therapy while working as an assistant manager at a local coffee shop and shadowing professionals in both fields.
