The exhibition features the work of more than 20 students, many of whom have had their work featured before, such as juniors Lauren Smoak, Anjali Lada, and Lauren Hobson.

Among those talented students is senior Peyton Phillips, a physics major from Augusta, Ga.聽

Phillips鈥 work was also featured in the student exhibition titled 鈥淥pen Studio/Creative Mind鈥 last spring, and this year, he had four pieces on display throughout the gallery, titled:

  • 鈥渞oll with the punches,鈥聽Digital Art
  • 鈥淪PS Logo & T-Shirt,鈥 Graphic Design
  • 鈥淎didas Art Showcase,鈥聽Graphic Design
  • 鈥渇alse messages,鈥聽Digital Art

Throughout his four years at PC, art has become Phillips鈥 passion project, acting as an escape from the daily stress of academics and other responsibilities.

His preferred mediums are digital art and graphic design, though he experiments with drawing and painting as well.

While the process can be time-consuming, the satisfaction and rewarding feeling of seeing his own work on display for so many eyes to see is what motivates Phillips and inspires him to keep creating and experimenting with other mediums.

鈥淚t feels great to see people admire your work and speak great things about what you created,鈥 Phillips said. 鈥淚t helps you gain confidence and the motivation to keep improving your craft and make something even better each time.鈥
